Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam has appointed Delhi-based infrastructure consultancy company, REPL (Rudrabhishek Enterprises Ltd.) as Supervision and Quality Control Consultant (SQC) in Madhya Pradesh. Assignment is for implementation of two Multi Village Schemes in Sagar & Vidisha districts.
Through this project government is providing functional household tap connection to every rural household. The focus is on ensuring regular water supply in adequate quality and prescribed quantity. REPL will carry out inspection of all engineering works related to civil, mechanical and electrical components executed under in-village infrastructure of water supply. The work will also include sample checking of material used for construction, safety measures, quality control and payment to the labourers by the executing party.
Mr. Pradeep Misra, CMD-REPL said, “The availability of potable drinking water is crucial for rural communities to maintain living standard. Government is actively spreading it through the JJM programme. The highest level of quality must be ensured when implementing the plan. Our extensive experience in large scale water supply projects will help us in carrying out this assignment effectively.”
REPL in joint venture with its partnering agency will assist the M.P. Jal Nigam in effective supervision, quality monitoring and transparency in implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission program. The company will also monitor the functioning of water supply infrastructure during trial run.
Bina-Khurai and Malthon are the two Multi Village Schemes which will cover 557 villages. REPL is already associated with Jal Jeevan Mission at multiple locations under various capacities. The company is also associated with various infrastructure projects such as GIS based property tax register (M.P.), GIS based Master Plan for Industrial Corridor Dhuriyapar (U.P.), PMAY in Pune, AMRUT 2.0 in 20 ULBs of M.P., and Medical College at Madanapalli (Andhra Pradesh).
