Canadian International School, Bangalore Celebrates Class of 2024 Graduation with the Theme “Reflect to Progress”


 


The Canadian International School (CIS), Bangalore proudly celebrated the graduation of the Class of 2024, marking a significant milestone under the inspiring theme “Reflect to Progress”. The ceremony was a testament to the hard work, resilience, and achievements of the IB students, who have been accepted into prestigious universities worldwide, including the London School of Economics, Columbia University, McGill University, and many more.

The Class of 2024 has not only excelled academically but also demonstrated extraordinary talent and dedication, collectively earning 1.75 million US dollars in scholarship awards. This remarkable achievement underscores the school's commitment to fostering academic excellence and holistic development.

 

The graduation ceremony featured a vibrant student performance of Kathak, reflecting the rich cultural heritage and artistic talents of the students. This traditional dance performance added a unique and memorable touch to the event, celebrating the diversity and creativity nurtured at CIS.

 

The guest of honour, Mr. Gaurav Singh, President of Table Space, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of reflection as a catalyst for progress and encouraging graduates to continue their journey of growth and learning. His words resonated deeply with both students and parents, providing valuable insights into the future.

CIS Head of School, Dr. Ted Mockrish expressed his pride in the graduates, stating, “Today's graduation ceremony was a Joyful and momentous moment for all our students, their families and the teachers and leaders who have worked together so closely with these fine young women and men over the past 2-12 years. We are so proud of the people all these graduates have become and know they will have the presence, resilience and giving spirit to be contributors and agents for positive change in the world.
