Paradip Port handled record 41 million tonnes of cargo in first 100 days of 2024-25


Paradip Port Authority (PPA) has achieved a significant milestone in its operational history by efficiently handling an unprecedented 41.12 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo during the first 100 days of the financial year 2024-25. This outstanding performance of efficiency sets a new record for the port, registering a growth of 4.78% over the 39.25 million metric tonnes of cargo handling achieved during the same period in the previous financial year 2023-24.

Such a remarkable success highlights the vital role of the port in strengthening India's maritime infrastructure and the unwavering commitment of the Authority to enhance its operational efficiency and capacity. Paradip Port Authority, under the dynamic leadership and visionary guidance of Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, has achieved remarkable growth in its operational programme and surpassed its previous benchmarks, demonstrating outstanding efficiency.
