UNITED STATES SIGNS FIRST FOR NATIONAL PAVILION SPACE AT 2025 PARIS AIR SHOW

Kallman Worldwide, organizer of the U.S. presence at the world’s most influential trade events, and SIAE, organizers of the International Paris Air Show, today announced that the United States of America is the first country to secure space for a national pavilion at next year’s biennial gathering at Le Bourget Airport.

 

The 2025 event will be the 55th edition of the storied expo and Kallman’s 30th year as the show’s U.S. representative. Following a record return in 2023 after a four-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2025 USA Partnership Pavilion is expected to host a record-breaking 300-plus exhibitors over more than 6,500 sqm in its long-standing location in Hall 3 next July 16-22.

 

“We welcome the United States as the first national pavilion the 2025 Paris Air Show floor plan,” said the show’s recently appointed CEO, Guillaume Bourdeloux. “It is a fitting statement of America’s leadership in the aerospace industry and the Paris Air Show’s proven reputation as the premiere gathering place in the world for industry leaders.”

 

Produced in coordination with government agencies including the U.S. Departments of Commerce, Defense, State, and Transportation, the Pavilion is America’s headquarters on-site, a high-profile showcase for participating U.S. exhibitors to maximize their success at the event, and a forum for all to share ideas and insights. The roster of participants is expected to include returning and first-time exhibitors, including a number of stand-alone state pavilions within the larger U.S. space, all looking to generate new business and create more jobs back home by growing exports, expanding their presence in international markets, and/or recruiting overseas partners to establish or participate in stateside operations.

 

“Building on my father’s success as the organizer of U.S. industry at trade shows since 1963, we launched our aerospace and defense business with 1500 sqm of floor space and 65 exhibitors at the Paris Air Show in 1995, and this show has been a launch pad for us ever since,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO, Tom Kallman. “Over the past 30 years, in partnership with the leadership and staff of SIAE and GIFAS, we have taken the art of organizing national pavilions to new heights at Paris, introducing innovations and perfecting programs that continue to add value to every square meter of space for our exhibitors and our country.”

 

Among the now familiar USA Partnership Pavilion features Kallman traces back to origins or innovations at Le Bourget are:

  • The USA Partnership Pavilion — Kallman’s centerpiece national pavilion service was rebranded at the 2017 Paris Air Show to emphasize America’s “invitation to collaboration.”
  • The Partnership Chalet — Introduced years earlier at Le Bourget as “The Chalet,” Kallman’s more affordable shared services option for executive hospitality was also rebranded in 2017 to complement the Pavilion.
  • Aerogare USA — Introduced in 2013, in a spirit of partnership — indeed, friendship — Kallman staff transform the Pavilion from a business environment to an education and activity experience for all ages during the show’s public weekend.
  • The Astronaut Al Worden Endeavour Scholarship — In 2019, Kallman announced this future workforce initiative to send select students from countries that host the shows it represents to Space Camp in the United States. To date, Endeavour has awarded scholarships to 80 students and 20 educators from nine countries. The all-expenses paid scholarships are funded entirely by private donations.
  • The FORUM — The Pavilion thought-leadership stage has hosted presentations and roundtable conversations featuring experts and icons throughout the show, perhaps none as inspiring as the 2019 gathering of three Apollo astronauts, Walt Cunningham (Apollo 7), Al Worden (Apollo 15), and Charlie Duke (Apollo 16) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 landing the first humans on the surface of the moon.
