On Thursday, Neeraj Chopra once again etched his name in the history books, becoming the second Indian male athlete to win two Olympic medals. Participating in the final of the men’s javelin throw event, Neeraj won the silver medal with an impressive throw of 89.45m. The event saw tough competition, especially with Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem winning the gold. Nadeem put up a brilliant performance, breaking the Olympic record, registering a 92.97m throw and dominating the final by breaching the 90m mark twice.
