PARAM Rudra supercomputer inaugurates in Kolkata


Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has officially inaugurated the PARAM Rudra Supercomputers on September 26, 2024, at the S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences (SNBNCBS). This landmark event highlights a significant push towards enhancing India’s computational capabilities through advanced technology, aligning with the nation’s vision for self-reliance and innovation.

PM Modi emphasized that technology is critical for every sector, and the development of the PARAM Rudra supercomputers is a monumental achievement in India’s science and technology landscape. He stated, “In this revolution, our share should not be in bits and bytes but in terabytes and petabytes,” reflecting the ambition to catalyze technological advancement in the country
