NMIMS Indore School of Law Students Exhibit Remarkable Legal Skills at NLIU Bhopal’s National Client Counselling Competition


Two talented 3rd year BA. LLB students from the School of Law, NMIMS Indore, Savyasanchi Khare and Shaurya Bhadoriya, achieved a distinct feat recently.They stood as the second runners-up at the momentous National Client Counselling Competition held by the prestigious National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal.

 

NLIU has a rich legacy and reputation across the country for being one of the leading legal education institutions in India. The institution was the competition host in collaboration with eminent law firm Singhania & Partners LLP.

 

Competing alongside 17 stellar teams from acclaimed legal institutions from across the country, the NMIMS SOL Indore team managed to reach the semi-finals, while Savyasanchi Khare received special recognition as the ‘Best Counsel’. The NMIMS team was joined by teams from leading educational institutions such as NLSIU Bangalore, Bharatiya Vidyapeeth's New Law College, Pune, and the School of Law, Christ University, Bengaluru. It competed with the talented team of NLSIU Bangalore in the semi-final round and went on to emerge as the victorious second runner-up.

 

The winners and best performers of the competition received cash prizes and other rewards in appreciation of their achievement.

 

Participants were required to showcase their expertise in client counselling and demonstrate keen legal skills and professionalism across numerous rigorous rounds of the competition. The NMIMS team's spectacular success was a result of the persistent support and guidance of the distinguished faculty at the School of Law and the dedication of ‘SAMADHAN’, the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee of NMIMS Indore as well as the perseverance of the two outstanding students. Their devotion, hard work, excellent legal abilities and profound knowledge of the legal realm set them apart from their peers and helped them to succeed in the competition.
