Union Minister of State for Electronics & IT, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Jal Shakti, Shri Rajiv Chandrashekhar inaugurated Synopsys' Chip Design Center at DLF Tech Park, Noida. The event was attended by an exclusive audience including senior leadership, employees, partners and representatives of Synopsis.
During his address the Minister said, “We are certainly living in the most exciting times today. For someone like me who has spent more than 30-35 years in technology, I can say that it is absolutely thrilling to see where India is going in terms of the semiconductor sector.
The coming decade will see innovation-driven performance across our devices, products and systems. There are significant possibilities for innovation and development today under the leadership of our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. There is much conventional wisdom about the technology, its speed and its reliance on more crude manufacturing processes. Both performance and manufacturing processes are being rewritten. It's as much about what the semiconductor ecosystem is going to be as it is about packaging innovation, design, and the software that drives innovation.
He further said that partnering with global leaders like Synopsis aligns seamlessly with India's aspirations and future path.
