Global peace activist, humanitarian, and founder of Global Peace Initiative, Dr. K.A. Paul, has issued a strong message to students appearing for the NEET examination, urging them not to take extreme steps such as suicide due to academic pressure or examination-related stress.
Expressing deep concern over recent reports of a student allegedly ending her life over fears of not clearing the examination, Dr. Paul said that no exam result is worth sacrificing one's life. He emphasized that failure in a single examination does not determine a person's future and encouraged students to explore the many opportunities available beyond one test or career path.
Sharing his own struggles, Dr. Paul said that he had failed Class 10 twice but went on to achieve success in multiple fields. He urged students to remain hopeful, work hard, and never lose confidence in their abilities.
Dr. Paul also launched a sharp attack on Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding him responsible for alleged irregularities and administrative failures in the education system. Citing reported incidents involving NEET examination arrangements and student grievances, he claimed that the ministry had failed to address the concerns of millions of students and parents across the country.
Calling for accountability, Dr. Paul demanded the immediate resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to appoint more capable leadership to oversee the country's education system.
“Students should never think that one examination defines their future. If one opportunity is missed, many others remain. Life is precious, and there is always hope for a better tomorrow,” Dr. Paul said.
He appealed to parents, teachers, and society at large to support students facing academic pressure and mental stress, while encouraging young people to seek guidance and remain optimistic about their future.
